Keep Our Girls in School Project (KOGIS)
The project is training school girls, teachers and parents on best Menstrual Hygiene Practices. Also, the project trains girls, teachers and parents on how to produce sustainable, healthy menstrual pads. This event is jointly conducted by the units.
Waste Management
The Community Development Unit held sensitization on waste management in communities across Lower River Region. Participants were sensitized on appropriate waste separation and disposal methods. Furthermore, FIOHTG donated cleansing materials to the communities. Subsequently, communities formed Committees who will be responsible for coordinating cleansing exercises.
