Future In Our Hands The Gambia in collaboration with the Mobile Traffic unit under the aegis of the Gambia Police Force on Tuesday 4th July,2023 commence a two-day training on Motor Traffic Act, Ethics and Professionalism and self-defense held at FIOHTG office in Kotu South.
The training aims to improve and raise awareness on road safety in The Gambia by equipping drivers with the requisite skills and knowledge needed to adhere to the traffic laws and prevent accidents.
Muhammed Lenn who deputized the Country Director FIOHTG said the training aim to capacitate drivers and security with relevant information on traffic laws as well as enhance their understanding on self-defense.
“I encourage the participants to actively participate in training. The lives you save could be you own,” Lenn stated.
Lamin King Colley, Commissioner, Mobile Traffic dilated the importance of motor traffic laws governing driving in the country.
Muhammed MS Bah, President, The Gambia Press Union presented on ethics and professionalism.
Abass Darboe, made a presentation on Protocol Services and its related activities.
