The regional women’s conference, bankrolled by Future In Our Hands The Gambia, reached Janjanbureh in the Central River Region.
The event was funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).
The high-level conclave aimed at building the capacity of regional women’s groups in amplifying women’s voices and priorities for inclusive community development, as well as advancing women’s participation in socio-economic transformation in The Gambia.
The project demonstrates FIOHTG’s and Sida’s commitment to community development and to advancing a more inclusive and gender-responsive society.
