Future In Our Hands The Gambia on Monday 7th April 2025 received in audience officials of the University of Supdeco led by Abdou Faye, Director, Supdeco Campus Banjul at the offices of FIOHTG complex in Kotu South.
The visit was meant to learn the institution’s work, the mandate and some of the successes registered thus far.
Speaking at the event, Jainaba T. Sarr, the country director, of Future In Our Hands The Gambia expressed gratitude for the visit and thanked the university. She disclosed that the organization has registered tremendous achievement since its inception in 1979.
She added that the organization through the Think Equal and Luminous Projects has inculcated social and emotional learning in the children and enrolled out-of-school-going children using the accelerated curriculum.
Abdou Faye, the head of the visiting delegation said the institution has a series of programs ranging from bachelor’s degrees to Ph.D. programs, noting that this year they have offered 25 partial scholarships to students who have enrolled in their programs.
Kemo S. Kinteh, HR Manager; Muhammed Lenn, MEAL Manager; Yankuba Manneh, Fundraising Manager; Lamin Sisay, Finance Manager; and Augustine Manneh, Construction Manager at FIOHTG all spoke at the event.
