Future In Our Hands The Gambia through its Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Unit (MEAL) has recently concluded an end of year evaluation for its project interventions areas.
The evaluation target teachers in the area of conducive learning, peace building, classroom management in the Central River Region, Upper River Region and North Bank and Lower River Region respectively.
The objective was to understand the effectiveness of the project implementation, identify successes and areas where improvement can be made. It also ensures accountability and transparency to track progress and hold each other responsible for achieving goals.
In the same vein, some of the Chiefs were also engaged in the area of district tribunal and administration of justice.
The end of year evaluation was led by Cherno Ceesay, Senior Program Officer, MEAL and Safeguarding Officer, FIOHTG.
