Future In Our Hands The Gambia (FIOHTG) in collaboration with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) on Thursday 9th May 2024 concluded 3-day training on Universal Design for Learning held at NaNA conference room in Kanifing.
The objective of the training was to equip the participants on the UDL framework and provide guidelines for teachers and education field officers in improving their skillset in UDL strategies.
It will encourage teachers to seek ways to motivate their students and sustain their interest. Engagement can include: letting students make choices within the classroom, presenting lessons in a way that feels relevant to the students.
The 3-day training enables participants to demonstrate different practical skills of universal design for learning methods such as group activity, sharing content in a variety of ways, use digital materials, regular feedback and posted lesson goals amongst others.
