Future In Our Hands The Gambia through its School Development Unit (SDU,) has recently concluded a sensitisation workshop for teachers on government policies at a workshop held in Daru, Central River Region; Jawo Kunda and Barrow Kunda in the Upper River Region.
The trainings were aimed at enlightening teachers on the significance of government policies, specifically on the General Orders and the Code of Conduct for Gambian Civil Servants.
Throughout these discussions, organizers were able to address certain misconceptions, and digital copies of the policy documents were distributed via WhatsApp for easy access.
Additionally, the workshops were dedicated to classroom observations and the development of additional educational materials. This initiative was a crucial step in ensuring that civil servants are well-informed and equipped to carry out their duties effectively.
