Future In Our Hands The Gambia (FIOHTG) on Thursday, August 6, 2026, conducted a one-day validation of its Anti-Corruption, Anti-Bribery, and Fraud Policy at the organization’s complex in Kotu South. The aim of the validation was to strengthen the organization’s commitment to prevent, detect, report, and respond to corruption, bribery, fraud, and money laundering. It also envisages ensuring the transparent, accountable, and lawful use of FIOHTG funds, assets, and institutional authority in line with governance standards.
In a related but distinct activity, FIOHTG’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) unit held a learning session on ROOTS, Think Equal, and SIDA-funded project activities, focusing on the outcomes, impacts, challenges, and recommendations implemented by FIOHTG. Staff members had the chance to discuss best practices, consider lessons learned, and evaluate how project accomplishments support FIOHTG’s larger goal of enhancing the lives of communities
