Future In Our Hands The Gambia in collaboration with the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MoBSE) and Think Equal has concluded a Year 2 Planning Workshop and Review of Wave 1 lessons learned held at the Regional Education Directorate in Kanifing.
The workshop brought together representatives from FIOHTG, MoBSE and Think Equal team to review the achievements, lessons, challenges and practical realities of Wave 1 and collectively identify priorities and improvements for Wave 2.
During the workshop, presentation was delivered by different units on major Wave 1 activities, including data collection, material distribution, stakeholder orientation, classroom monitoring and Focus Group Discussions.
Think Equal is a global education initiative focused on addressing discriminatory mindsets and promoting social and emotional learning, social justice, positive relationships, inclusion and mental wellbeing among young children.
